A good helper and generous guest in anticipation of the national holiday was a young volunteer from Germany - Elisabeth, who helped the children prepare treats in groups, and as part of the project, she prepared a treat for the entire large family of gnomes on Latvia's birthday - thus becoming a common part of the holiday festivities.
